On Tuesday night at Hilliard Bradley, the Patriots hoped to build on their comeback draw against Coffman, but were defeated 0-1 by the Jaguars on a goal in the 74th minute.  The first half was all Bradley, as the Pattys came out flat and struggled to win 50/50 balls and gain consistent possession, and were also outshot.  But the score remained 0-0 at the half due to the strong effort of the back line and goalkeeper of Caitlin Curmode, Olivia Sensky, Sydney Weaver and Riley Cartwright.

In the second half, the Patriots gained control of possession and created several quality scoring chances, but could not find the back of the net. Bradley scored the match winner against the run of play on a rebound off an initial strong save by Cartwright that the Pattys could not clear and was finished by the Jaguars.

In the earlier JVA match, the squad delivered a convincing 4-0 win, with goals scored by Olivia Brinkman (2), Nora Gilger and Rachel Davidson, with assists from Gilger, Sydney Rohl, Miranda Stefanik and Grace Linscott. Maddie Kelley recorded the clean sheet with three saves.

Next up for the Varsity and JVA Pattys is a trip on Saturday to Oregon Clay (Toledo).

GO PATTYS!
