The Pattys kicked off Homecoming Saturday with a win over non-conference opponent Dublin Jerome. The game winner was delivered early on a goal by Abby Townsend in the 3rd minute, assisted by Sydney Weaver. Emma Campbell was stellar in goal registering a season high 9 saves and the entire defensive unit turned in an outstanding effort in securing the win.
Although possession was even throughout the match, Liberty was outshot by a 12-5 margin and a very strong Jerome squad had 6 corners to Liberty’s 1.
The Pattys are now 10-1-0 on the season and will welcome Watterson on Tuesday at home.
