Varsity Gets Win at Kilbourne, JVA Brings Home Draw on Last Second Goal (9/18/14)

September 23, 2014On Monday, JVB started the week with a commanding victory over Kilbourne by a score of 7-1. Coach Q called the victory “a complete team victory” with everyone on the squad contributing. Goals were scored by Madison Rapier (2), Lauren Spicer, Emma Humenay, Taylor McGee and Jenna Geier. Spicer also contributed two assists. JVB is now 9-0-2 with 33 goals scored and only 8 allowed.
On Tuesday, JVA battled Davidson to a 0-0 draw. The Patriots controlled possession by a wide margin and moved the ball around the field with ease, but we not able to find the back of the net. Emma Campbell had 3 saves and Ally Piero had 2 saves on the night. Coach Rambo’s squad is also undefeated with a season record of 4-0-6 with 29 goals scored and only 8 allowed.
