Week 8 – July 19th – July 23rd

Day 1

Hand Drill

    Begin at the START (bottom) cone.

Sprint toward the 1st (left) cone and back pedal to the start cone. Repeat for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th  cones. This is one set.

    Complete 6 sets.

    Rest 30 seconds between sets.

Technical Work – See Video  (Do at least 8 – 10 per foot on each drill) 

Day 2

Lifting

2 Mile Run(Not timed + Full Body Stretch (10 – 15 secs holds on each stretch)

Juggle 200 touches per foot

Day 3

120s 

  • Warm Up well before beginning
  • Sprint the full length of the soccer field in 18 seconds.
  • Jog back in 30 seconds and rest another 30 seconds. As soon as the recovery minute ends, you should start the next sprint.
  • Complete 10 Sprints

Technical Work – See Video  (Do the would sequence of drills 3 times.)

Day 4

Lifting

Timed 1 Mile Run as fast as you can (Aim for 6:30 Mins) – Log Time with Group Leader

Day 5

Compass Drill

Ball Work

GKs work on:

  • Distribution (Hands and Feet)

Field players work on:

  • Passing (Close + driven to farther distances)
