Pattys Move To 4-0-0 In Conference With 12-1 Win at Westland (9/22/15)

September 24, 2015After an opening game loss, the Patty’s JVB squad has been on a roll going undefeated in their next nine matches, including a 2-0 win tonight over Hilliard Davidson and a 4-0 win over Grandview on Monday. The JVB Patriots, led by Captains Kayla Rizzo, Emily Milisavljevich and Laura Bichsel, have a current record of 6-1-3, and Coach Tiffany Harrison has been pleased with the progress from match to match.
Bichsel continues to lead the team in scoring, adding four more goals in the last two games. However, every player is making contributions to the team’s success. The defensive unit has stepped up their efforts registering three consecutive shutouts. Freshman Haley Gibson has been solid in goal throughout the season. Due to an injury, she has been supported in the last two games by Freshman Lexie Blosser, who unselfishly stepped in to help the team despite limited experience in goal.
The JVB’ers next match is Wednesday 9/30 when they travel to Jonathan Alder. Keep up the great work!
