October 29, 2014The Pattys recorded a program first on Saturday evening, bringing home its first District Championship via a 1-0 win over Grove City at Westerville North HS. The windy conditions and unfinished chances allowed a Grove City squad that left it all on the field to stay in the game, but the Patriots delivered the game winner on a goal 15 minutes into the second half by Jordan Fike, assisted by Sarina Dirrig. The Patriots outshot the Greyhounds 21 to 8 for the game.
The Pattys advance to the Regional Semifinal on Tuesday, October 28th at 7PM vs. Olentangy at Gahanna HS.
