On Tuesday night at Patriots Stadium, both Liberty and Kilbourne JVA & Varsity teams united to support breast cancer research, wearing special pink and gray jerseys on “Ultimate Goal…Shoot For The Cure” Night. Funds raised by both teams plus halftime collections will be donated to the Stephanie Speilman Research Fund.  Stay tuned for the total amount raised.  A very special thanks to parents Holly Hall from Liberty and Cindy Fushimi from Kilbourne for leading the effort.

On the field, the Patty’s JVA squad prevailed in the early match on the practice field by a score of 2-0, raising their season record to 7-0-2. Goals were scored by Hailey Pickelheimer and Abbey Summers.

In the Varsity match, the Patriots returned to their home turf and controlled all aspects of the match versus a quality Kilbourne side that featured many “Patty’s friends and clubmates”, taking a 4-0 lead into the half, and finishing with a 5-0 win. Scoring for the Patriots were Natalie Flahive (2), Hayley HIckman (1), Lizzy Castro (1)and Sarina Dirrig (1). Assists were delivered by Emma Waters (1), Emma Ranalli (1) and Julia Bruno (1). Every Patriot who was dressed for the match contributed to the victory.

The Patty’s are now 8-0-2 on the season and 4-0-0 in conference. Next up is a Tuesday battle in Patriots Stadium with Conference foe and #3 District ranked Hilliard Davidson.  Let’s get a huge crowd out to support the Patty’s in the next step in their quest for the OCC Central Championship!
