September 30, 2014In a non-conference matchup vs. Hilliard Bradley, JVA delivered a convincing 6-0 win in the early match, with goals from Sydney Weaver, Abby Townsend (2), Harley Hatfield, Meredith Shook, and Sydney Engelhart and Varsity won 4-0 in the nightcap.
In the Varsity match, every player on the roster saw considerable playing time and some key players got a well-needed break as the Pattys rolled over Bradley by getting out to an early 3-0 lead on a hat trick on consecutive goals by Jordan Fike, with assists from Sarina Dirrig, Emma Ranalli and Hailey Pickelheimer. In the second half, Ranalli capped the scoring with a laser from 35 yards out.
The Pattys are now 11-0-1 with 52 goals scored and only 2 allowed. Next up is an away match at Coffman on Tuesday with conference championship implications. The regular season then concludes with three home matches against Hilliard Darby (10/2), Thomas Worthington (10/7) and Senior NIght vs. Olentangy on (10/9).
