November 17, 2013The Liberty Girls 2013 Soccer Season featured great efforts and contributions by many individuals and the team as a whole, resulting in one of the most successful seasons in program history. They Pattys finished with an overall record of 11-3-5, falling in overtime in the district championship, having earned the #4 seed in the 40 team Central District, along with mid-season votes for State Top 10. Five Lady Patriots soccer players earned OCC Central All-Conference honors (Flahive, Ranalli, Bruno, Kuhns & Best), and Elizabeth Peyton earned the OCC Scholar Athlete Award.
After missing the 2012 season due to injury, Junior Forward Natalie Flahive made the most of her return in to the Pattys’ lineup in 2013, and has added two major honors to her All-OCC Central 1st Team award. Flahive has been named to the Columbus Dispatch’s “This Week 2013 Super 12 Girls Soccer Team” and was also voted to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association (OSSCA) All-State 2nd Team.
Flahive led the team in goals and overall points, with 20 goals and 10 assists.
