On Friday, December 27th OLHS Athletic Director, Darin Meeker, issued the following release announcing Kristen McMahon as the Pattys Varsity Head Coach.

“I am pleased to announce that Kristen McMahon has accepted our offer to become the Girls Soccer Varsity Head Coach at Olentangy Liberty High School.

Ms. McMahon joins our OLHS Head Coaching Team with an extensive soccer background.  As a former DePauw University soccer player she was a three year starter and Offensive MVP.  Ms. McMahon was also in the Honors Program and received a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from DePauw.  She then went onto Earlham College earning her Master of Arts in Teaching while also serving as an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach for a year. For the last three years she has been a Middle School Math and Algebra I teacher for the Olentangy Local School District and an Assistant Coach for the OLHS Girls Soccer team.  As the Varsity Assistant, Ms. McMahon was very instrumental in helping last year’s team have the best season in school history and winning their first District Championship.’

At this time I would also like to recognize Lisa Saiben for her commitment and contributions in leading our OLHS Girls Soccer program these past four years, and certainly wish her and her family the best!”

Coach McMahon shared the following regarding the announcement, “I am thrilled and can’t wait to get started in January. Next Fall cannot come soon enough!”

HAPPY NEW YEAR & GO PATTYS!
